Instructions for using Bartleby.com

 To find:

  • Poems by your favorite author

 1.   In the search box, click on the small arrow to get the drop-down   
      menu.

2.    Scroll down & select All Verse (verse means poetry) or click the Verse Tab.

3.    In the next box, type the subject you are looking for (example: friendship).

4.    Click on the Go button.

5.    You should see a poem by the author.

6.    Click on previous or next to find other poems

 

  •  Poems about a subject of your choice

 1.  In the search box, click on the small arrow to get the drop-down menu.

2.   Scroll down and select All Verse (verse means poetry) or click on the
       Verse Tab.

3.   In the next box, type the subject you are looking for (example: friendship).

4.  Click on the Go button.

5.   You should see a poem about your subject.

6.   Click on previous or next to find other poems

 

  •  Quotations about a subject of your choice

 1.   In the search box, click on the small arrow to get the drop-down menu.

2.   Scroll down & select Quotations, Bartlett?s Quotations, Columbia Quotations, or    Simpson?s Quotations.

3.   In the next box, type the subject you are looking for (example: friendship).

4.   Click on the Go button.

5.   You should see a quotation about that subject.

            6.   Click on previous or next to find other quotations
